The Prefall 2019 Collection

Curvilinear structures exaggerate an hourglass silhouette, as outerwear harnesses the bold volumes of a nipped waist and dolman sleeve crafted in neoprene, Melton and ‘grain de poudre’ wool. Laser-cut fitted dresses feature built-in compression corsetry, whilst crepe, lycra, and jersey dresses move around the body in intricate ruched and draped gestures. Rendered painterly in abstract expressionist prints and biascut asymmetries, their dappled colours.

Building on the pillars of tailoring, eveningwear and sports-inflected drape, the season plays out in signature monochromes of black, white, and MUGLER blue mixed with mineral tones and a neon flash.

Also appear on flocked cotton twill, as the spiral seam technique returns with tweaked proportions in antique black denim and malachite velvet In vivid contrast, high-shine textiles elevate second-skin tops and trousers in metallic stretch taffeta or fluid dresses in bonded duchesse satin. Slim tuxedo trousers fit through the leg with a short ankle flare, as the new MUGLER scuba leggings come traced with aerodynamic debossing – exemplifying the collection’s engineered precision.

The Pre Fall 2019 jewellery collection evolves in collaboration with Marco Panconesi, as new sizes of the dotted ear cuff are adorned with metal orbs and crystal solitaires. They are joined by new tiered crystal stacking rings and the 5-point star enamel stud in MUGLER blue.
